1.7 million euros from the export of fresh raspberries, almost 240 million euros from frozen ones

In the period from January to the end of October 2023, 845 tons of fresh raspberries were exported from Serbia, worth almost 1.7 million euros, the Republic Institute of Statistics announced.

When it comes to the export of frozen raspberries, 57,612 tons were exported by the end of October, with a total value of slightly more than 237 million euros.

The countries to which we most often export are Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and the USA.
When it comes to the entire fruit growing sector, in the first ten months, Serbia exported 316,790 tons of fruit, and imported 234,673 tons, mostly southern fruit.

The realized value of exported fruit was a total of around 622 million euros, and the value of imported fruit was close to 245 million euros, the Agrobiznis portal announced.
