98,000 tons of copper and 122,000 ounces of gold were mined in half a year

The global Zijin Mining Group announced that in half a year, two of its companies in Serbia produced a total of 98,000 tons of copper and 122,000 ounces of gold. According to reports, the ÄŒukaru Peki copper-gold mine in Serbia is the most profitable project of Zijin Mining.

It is added that the production results of ÄŒukaru Peki for half of 2022 are 53,000 tons of mined copper and 82,000 ounces of gold. For the company “Srbija Zijin copper” in addition to the mining and processing capacities of the Veliki Krivelj mine, it is stated that “the technical upgrade of the company’s smelter will be completed soon”, reports Tanjug.

At the same time as these projects, underground mining in the Jama mine is progressing according to plan, Politika reports.
