The number of issued construction permits in Sebia fell compared to last year

In April, according to the data of the Republic Institute of Statistics, 1,972 construction permits were issued, which is 11.1 percent less than in the same month last year.

Of the total number of building permits issued, 80.4 percent refer to buildings, and 19.6 percent to other structures.

A record 144,139 requests for the issuance of e-building permits in 2022 were submitted.

According to the permits issued in April, the construction of 2,592 apartments, with an average area of ​​72.2 square meters, was reported in Serbia.

The projected value of the new construction works in April is 90.2 percent of the total projected value of the works.

Observed by region, the highest construction activity is expected in the Srem region with 30.6 percent of the projected value of new construction, followed by Belgrade with 25.9 percent, Južno Banat region with 6.6 percent, Braničevsk region with 5.2 percent and Severnobačka region with 4.0 percent.
