Srbijagas and the Hungarian electricity company MVM will establish a joint venture for the purpose of joint participation in the Serbian market when it comes to gas trade, Finance Minister SiniĊĦa Mali announced, as reported by Politika.
The agreement on the establishment of this company should be signed tomorrow at the Strategic Council for Cooperation between Serbia and Hungary in PaliÄ.
On Friday, the Governmentâs decision was published in the Official Gazette giving preliminary consent to the establishment of the company âSERBHUNGASâ. As stated in the decision, it was made in accordance with the decision made by the Supervisory Board of the Public Company âSrbijagasâ on April 25 of this year.
Mali announced that Serbia and Hungary will sign a large number of agreements tomorrow.
âWe will sign several very important agreements: for cooperation in the field of customs, exchange of information, and we are working on this additionally when it comes to VAT, in the field of road infrastructure development, then in the field of defense and in connection with internal affairs.â
And what is especially important to me, we will sign an agreement on the construction of an oil pipeline that will connect our refinery in Novi Sad with Hungary, which gives us the opportunity to, in addition to the (oil pipeline) Janaf through Croatia, get crude oil for our refineries through the Druzba oil pipeline, which goes to via Hungaryâ, Mali said.
