Serbia, Bio4 campus: a new chance for researchers and science development

The Government of Serbia decided to establish the company „Bio4“ doo Belgrade, which will gather researchers, professors and experts from various fields of natural sciences as a scientific ecosystem.

The “Bio4 campus” will include six faculties, nine scientific research and development institutes and a science and technology park to support the development of the startup ecosystem, as well as companies from the biofarm area, announced the Government of Serbia.

It Is planned that the ecosystem will be a unique center in the wider region in terms of multidisciplinarity, which will also attract researchers from other fields, such as mechanical engineering, economics, philosophy, sociology.

“The campus will be an opportunity for domestic researchers, but also for the return of our experts from the diaspora. Also, this kind of environment aims to partially prevent the departure of experts from the country, as well as to attract researchers from all over the world,” the Government’s press release states.
