Air Serbia announced today, on the occasion of ten years of business under that name and with a new visual identity, that it has doubled the number of destinations in the network so that it flies to more than 80 regular and charter destinations in Europe, the Mediterranean, North America in passenger and cargo traffic ,Asia and Africa.
Three intercontinental destinations were also introduced – New York, Tianjin and Chicago.
The company’s fleet has been completely renewed and currently consists of two wide-body Airbus A330-200s, 13 narrow-body aircraft from the Airbus A320 family, as well as seven turboprop ATR aircraft for regional flights.
During the week marking the company’s jubilee, Air Serbia, the successor of JAT Airways, exceeded the number of 3.5 million transported passengers since the beginning of the year.
It is expected that by the end of 2023, the record of four million transported passengers in one year could be surpassed, which is more than triple compared to the last year before the launch of the company.
In the past decade, the Serbian national airline has operated more than 310,000 flights and transported more than 25 million passengers.
Air Serbia jubilee marks the modernization of the company’s website, the introduction of new music for boarding planes, as well as the presentation of a special postage stamp in cooperation with the Post of Serbia.
