NIS invests €2 million in advanced machinery to enhance operational efficiency and infrastructure

NIS has acquired 11 state-of-the-art machines to modernize its infrastructure and enhance operations within its Oil Services division. The investment, totaling two million euros, includes crawler excavators, wheeled excavators, bulldozers, rollers and tipper trucks, all equipped with the latest technology. These machines will play a crucial role in the construction, recultivation, and rehabilitation of NIS sites, improving work conditions, increasing flexibility, and reducing reliance on third-party equipment.

Dragan Milović, Manager of the Mechanization Brigade at “Naftagas – Naftni servisi,” emphasized the importance of this investment, noting it marks a significant step in the company’s modernization. “The last purchase of similar machinery was over ten years ago, and this acquisition is a major leap forward for improving work processes, safety, and efficiency in the field,” Milović stated.
