National Bank of Serbia’s IPS system processes 7.5 million transactions in January 2025

In the IPS NBS system for instant payments, which operates 24/7/365, a total of 7,538,690 transactions were processed in January 2025, according to the Payment Systems Department of the National Bank of Serbia.

The average daily number of payments was 243,184, with an average transaction execution time of 1.2 seconds in the IPS NBS system. The transaction value amounted to 89.9 billion dinars, with an average daily transaction value of 2,900.4 million dinars, the statement said.
