Procurement for expert technical services launched for Novi Sad pedestrian-bicycle bridge project

China Shandong International Economic & Technical Cooperation Group Ltd., Belgrade Branch (CSI Belgrade Branch), has started the process of procuring expert technical services for the analysis of the interaction between the tunnel and shaft junction in the pedestrian-bicycle bridge project in Novi Sad.

The project encompasses the construction of a 437.55-meter-long bridge over the Danube, utilizing the pillars of the former Franz Josef Bridge. It also includes the modernization of a 358-meter-long tunnel inside the Petrovaradin fortress and the reconstruction of recreational areas on both sides of the bridge and at the tunnel’s exit.

The technical services to be provided will involve verifying and optimizing the soil stress-deformation characteristics, soil sampling and testing, numerical simulations to assess the impact of excavation on the soil, and researching ways to optimize excavation and minimize structural deformations.

Supported by

University and research institutions with relevant experience in similar projects completed in the past five years, while adhering to academic ethical standards, are invited to participate.

The deadline for submitting offers is April 8.
