Tadic, Sarkozy to sign partnership agreement

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said Monday that the Presidents of Serbia Boris Tadic and France Nicolas Sarkozy will sign next week an agreement on strategic partnership between the two countries, which will include science, environment and innovation as its key elements.

These areas are very important segments for the future of both Serbia and France, Djelic said at the Embassy of France in Belgrade, where three Serbian projects which were included in the top 10 of Lafarge competition for innovation 2010 were presented.

New French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said earlier this month that France and Serbia will sign agreement on strategic partnership, according to which Paris would assist Belgrade in the process of European integration.
