A €30 million spa and wellness center is being built in Serbia

The municipality of Becej Serbia and Hungarian company Aquaprofit have signed a declaration of joint intention to implement investments and construct of a spa center. A spa, wellness center and accompanying accommodation capacities of around €30 million in value will be built in the first phase, the municipality of Becej announced. The Serbian municipality will provide the land and the right to exploit thermal waters for the project, while Aquaprofit will contribute its know-how to extract the mineral, thermal and drinking water. The two sides also agreed on cooperation in implementation of other tourist and water power engineering projects, as well as projects involving renewable energy sources and heating energy in Becej.
