30 kilometers of completely new sewage infrastructure will be built in Lajkovac, as well as two wastewater treatment plants.
The total investment of 15.5 million euros in communal infrastructure will significantly raise the quality of life in this place.
“We have to clean our country and leave our rivers to children significantly cleaner than they are today. In the next period, we will invest four billion euros in communal infrastructure and construction of wastewater treatment plants so that our rivers in five to seven years will be such that you can almost drink water from them. At the end of this year, we will start investing in Lajkovac, Mionica and Banja Vrujci,” said Minister Momirovic.
Minister Momirovic used the visit to the municipality of Lajkovac to visit the works on the fast road from Lajkovac to Valjevo, where he stated that the works are going well, especially in the part from Lajkovac to Divac.
Minister Momirovic underlined that the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, personally insisted on the construction of a fast road to Valjevo, and it must be built in order for Valjevo to have quality traffic communication, which will make Lajkovac a road junction in this part of Kolubara district.
The construction of the branch from the loop in Nepricava to Valjevo will be the basis for the development of this entire part of Serbia and the Kolubara district in the future.
The beginning of works on the construction of two wastewater treatment plants and 30 kilometers of completely new communal infrastructure in Lajkovac is planned for October. For these purposes, 15.5 million euros have been allocated, while the total value of investments for the construction of communal infrastructure in the entire Kolubara district will amount to over 150 million euros, B92 reports.
