Air Serbia will introduce direct flights from Belgrade to the popular destinations of Sardinia, Mykonos and Florence for the upcoming summer season, offering passengers convenient travel options to these sought-after locations. The airline will resume services to Sardinia and Mykonos, after previously operating them on chartered flights in partnership with travel agencies. In addition, flights to Florence, Italy, will be re-established after a break of more than a year and a half.
The Serbian national carrier will operate twice-weekly flights to Mykonos (JMK) and Alghero in Sardinia (AHO) using Airbus A319 and Embraer E195 aircraft. The ATR 72-600, part of Air Serbia’s regional fleet, will service the Belgrade-Florence (FLR) route. Tickets for all three destinations are already available for purchase.
“We are excited to offer regular flights to Mykonos and Sardinia this summer after flying to these destinations previously only in partnership with travel agencies. This new regular service provides passengers the flexibility to plan their trips independently to these beautiful islands of Italy and Greece. Additionally, we are reintroducing direct flights to Florence, our tenth destination in Italy and we’re confident these routes will be popular with passengers,” said Boško Rupić, Director of Commercial and Strategy at Air Serbia.
