Appeals filed against passive status decisions for agricultural holdings

Zlatko Kokanović and Predrag Veljković have filed appeals against the decisions determining their agricultural holdings’ passive status. The Ministry of Agriculture has stated that these appeals will be given serious consideration. According to a press release, both farmers submitted complaints within the legal deadline via the eAgrar platform.

The Ministry assured the public that the complaints would be thoroughly reviewed in accordance with the relevant laws governing administrative procedures and agricultural incentives. After conducting a comprehensive administrative and inspection review, a final decision will be made regarding the appeals.

The Ministry also reiterated its commitment to assisting farmers affected by passive status decisions, offering them an opportunity to address any irregularities and take corrective action. The Ministry remains open to working with all agricultural producers who wish to improve conditions for farmers and collaboratively resolve challenges in the sector.
