Final phase of Gornji Milanovac bypass asphalting underway

Construction Minister Goran Vesić announced that asphalting of the final 500 meters of the Gornji Milanovac bypass has begun. The first layer of asphalt has been applied, with the final layer set to be placed starting Monday. Additional work includes asphalting sidewalks, leveling slopes, installing public lighting, and adding protective barriers.

The 9.5 km bypass, which will significantly reduce travel time to the Miloš Veliki highway and facilitate freight traffic, includes four bridges, one overpass, three concrete walls, and a roundabout. The total value of the project is €31.7 million.
