Belgrade Stock Exchange: Fintel most traded, Metalac and Messer Tehnogas boost BELEX15

The domestic stock market continued its series of weak turnovers but showed improvement compared to the previous week, which experienced a sharp correction. The total turnover in trading was a modest EUR 890 thousand, while the Belex15 index rose by one percent to 880.9 points.

The most traded stock in the index basket was Fintel Energija (FINT), which recorded a turnover of EUR thousand at a price of EUR 5.6 in a single transaction. This company conducted an initial public offering of shares at a price of EUR 4.26 at the end of 2018, but subsequently experienced very little investor interest, resulting in rare transactions.

Messer Tehnogas (TGAS), a producer and distributor of technical gases, jumped four percent to EUR 139 with a turnover of EUR 35 thousand, while NIS (NIIS) returned above the psychological threshold of EUR 6.8.

Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) weakened by 2.2 percent to EUR 8.1 with a turnover of EUR 19 thousand, while Metalac (MTLC) strengthened by 6.2 percent to EUR 13 after a significant correction in the previous week when the domestic Dunav Pension Fund purchased over three percent of this company’s shares.
