Belgrade terminates contract with Slovenians – New contractor needed for north intersection to bridge near Ada

 

The Directorate for Building Land and Development of Belgrade has terminated the contract with Slovenian company SCT, which was supposed to build an access road to the bridge on Ada on the side of New Belgrade.

Although it is still unknown who will take over SCT’s part of the job, Mayor Dragan Djilas said that the citizens of Belgrade should not worry because the bridge would be open for traffic on time in spite of the stoppage.

The City of Belgrade has also informed the European Investment Bank on the decision and a new call for tenders for another contractor will be announced in accordance with the rules of that bank, said people at the Directorate.
