According to the law published in the Official Gazette, guarantees were given in favor of UniKredit Banka Srbija for a loan of EUR 75 million, NLB Komercijalna Banka A.D. for 30 million euros and AIK Banka a.d. for a loan of 2.35 billion dinars.
For the Srbijagas loan at UniKredit bank, the annual interest is the three-month Euribor increased by an interest margin of 5.25 percent, while at NLB Komercijalna the Euribor is increased by an interest margin of 5.5 percent.
The loan with AIK Bank has a nominal interest rate that is variable, and it consists of the reference interest rate of the NBS increased by a credit margin of four percent.
The Republic of Serbia has accepted the obligation to irrevocably, unconditionally, without objection and at the first call, guarantee that it will settle the debt of Srbijagas to those banks if that public company does not fulfill its obligation in a timely manner.
