Completion of tender documentation for steam power plants Nikola Tesla 3 and Kolubara B prior to end of August

The tender documentation for construction of the third block in steam power plant Nikola Tesla in Obrenovac and new steam power plant Kolubara B will be completed by the end of the month – Serbian Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Skundric announced.

Skundric said that it was important that those projects be implemented as soon as possible because their completion was important not only from the viewpoint of long-term supply of electric power to Serbia, but also from the point of view of the employment of new workers.

– In Vreoci near Lazarevac, where steam power plant Kolubara B should be built, 60% of landowners have already given consent for expropriation of the terrain where lignite strip mines will be exploited – said the Minister.
