Mayor Simonovic expressed a hope that the construction of one of the biggest investments in the tourism sector in this part of Serbia would commence within next few months.

– Construction of the aqua park is a driver of the development of the City borough of Niska Banja, which is a big potential for development of the City of Nis. It is most important that this attractive location, which has been standing unused for years, is now finally in use – said Mayor Simonovic and expressed an expectation that investors would respect the agreed deadlines.

According to the investor’s announcement, this complex will be built in three phases. The first phase will include construction of an aqua park, which is expected to be ready for visitors as soon as next summer, while a hotel will be built prior to 2013 and its completion will be followed by construction of other tourist contents.
