Construction of Diagnostic and Reception Center at Studenica General Hospital in Kraljevo to begin in April 2025

Construction of the Diagnostic and Reception Center at the Studenica General Hospital in Kraljevo will begin in April 2025, announced Darko Glišić, Minister for Public Investments, following a meeting with the mayor of Kraljevo.

“This is not uncertain, it’s absolutely certain. We have resolved all the issues that were previously problematic. We will announce a public procurement tender by the end of January for a project worth over 11 million EUR. Once the procurement process is completed, work on the Diagnostic and Reception Center will start at the end of March or the beginning of April, with the latest deadline being mid-April,” Glišić stated.

He emphasized that the project would significantly improve the quality of healthcare in Kraljevo, making the facility one of the most modern in Serbia. The project will include state-of-the-art equipment and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance of all medical devices in the building. Glišić expressed confidence that the center would be a source of pride for the entire Raška District and, as he put it, for all of Serbia.
