Consumer Group ”Efektiva” calls for seven-day boycott of Merkator and its associated stores

The Consumer Protection Association “Efektiva” has called on consumers in Serbia to participate in a new seven-day boycott of another retail chain, this time targeting Merkator.

According to the announcement, the second boycott, which will last until March 9, will affect Merkator stores, as well as Idea and Roda stores operating under the same retail chain.

Following two general boycotts of retail chains due to high prices, selective boycotts of individual chains began last week, with Delez being the first target.

The order of the retail chains to be boycotted was determined through a survey conducted by Efektiva among consumers.
