Cooperation of Serbia and Portugal in field of environment

 

Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic and Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Regional Development of Portugal Dulce Alvaro Passaro signed yesterday in Belgrade the Memorandum of understanding between the two ministries.

Dulic said that this document envisages the exchange of experiences of the two ministries and encouragement of partnerships in the areas of planning, improvement of environment and waste and wastewater management.

According to Dulic, Portugal has invested more than €5.5 billion to solve these problems, and most of these resources have been secured from European funds.

Passaro stated that Serbia and Portugal are very similar and that the government of this country considers the strengthening of relations with Serbia very important.
