Creating favorable conditions for investments is Serbia’s goal

This year, the Ministry of Economy will invest about 790 million dinars in investments in infrastructure facilities to improve the economic environment, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Darko Mitrović told Tanjug.

He stated that by the decision of the Minister of Economy, Radet Basta, the funds will be used for the implementation of 21 infrastructure projects that will affect their development. „Our goal is to improve the development potential of local self-governments by creating favorable conditions for attracting investments, improving the economic environment and creating new jobs.“ Certain funds will be used to finance infrastructure projects for equipping business zones and tourist capacities in local self-governments,“ Mitrović said.

He added that the Ministry of Economy finances the entire value of works on projects when it comes to local self-governments of the third and fourth development groups and thus contributes to balanced regional development.
