Mr. Beckers said in an interview for TV B92 that he “can guarantee competitive prices in the near future” and that that policy would also be reflected in the work of Delta Maxi chain over the next two or three years.

– Priorities in the work of Delhaize are: the best value, quality, service and competitive prices. That is part of the strategy of our group, which will also be available to every consumer on our website – said Mr. Beckers.

The Director stressed that Delhaize would, as the new owner of the biggest market chain in Serbia, invest in the development of Delta Maxi Group and added that that company would increase it’s presence in the region by entering the market of Serbia since it was already operating in Greece and Romania.
