The past week saw a continued decline in the domestic stock market, which weakened by nearly one percent, according to an analysis by the brokerage firm Momentum Securities.
The total turnover on the market amounted to a modest 37.9 million dinars (0.3 million euros), while the Belex15 index dropped by 0.9 percent, reaching 1,131.3 points. The most traded stock from the index basket was that of Nikola Tesla Airport (AERO), which recorded a turnover of 7.2 million dinars. This stock once again surpassed the psychological barrier of 2,000 dinars after weaker demand in the second half of the week.
Shares of Dunav Osiguranje (DNOS) fell by nearly one percent to 1,362 dinars, with a modest turnover of 3.4 million dinars. This stock has seen a significant decrease in investment activity this year, with a rather narrow price fluctuation range.
Messer Tehnogas (TGAS) shares fell by 1.4 percent to 35,000 dinars, with a turnover of 3.4 million dinars, while preferred shares of Philip Morris (DINNPB) traded at 9,400 dinars after the dividend cutoff date. Trading in the shares of Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS) remained temporarily suspended, with no public information available to clarify the fate of this largest domestic company.
