Europarket plant in Nikinci near Ruma starts production of parquet floor

Construction of the parquet floor factory Europarket in Nikinci near Ruma has been finished. A total of 15 people will be employed at this plant for a trial period in early February, which will be followed by a growth of the production of oak parquet floor, exclusively intended for export, and employment of another 50 people.

Ruma Mayor Goran Vukovic has visited the new parquet floor production unit worth EUR 800,000, it is announced on the municipal website.

The founders of Europarket are the companies Ekoterm Ignjatovic from Hrtkovci, Zlatic from Uzice, and Evrohrast from Osijek.

There will be two shifts in the new plant and about 600 square meters of parquet floor are expected to be produced on a daily basis. In addition to parquet floor, the plant will also be producing strips for parquet floor, wooden frames for pictures, etc.
