Fiat Grande Panda wins Carwow Car of the Year 2025 award in “Car Anticipation” category

The Fiat Grande Panda, which was first unveiled to the public in July and has yet to officially launch, has already won its first major accolade: the Carwow Car of the Year 2025 award in the “Car Anticipation” category, according to Stellantis.

This prestigious award, presented by the Carwow jury, celebrates the best car models across ten categories and recognizes innovation, design, and brand excellence. Daniel Hochmeier, a jury member, highlighted the Fiat Grande Panda’s unique appeal: “The Grande Panda stands out with its new design, opening the door to a completely new family of Fiat models.”

Hochmeier also praised the vehicle’s fresh, angular design and pixel LED headlights, which promise to continue the Panda’s legacy while offering many reasons for optimism. “This model is a significant step forward for Fiat, carrying the promise of a bright future.”

Despite its early recognition, the Grande Panda’s official launch has been delayed. Fiat has postponed the start of sales in Italy, originally scheduled for the end of this year. According to reports from the automotive portal Hot Tires, initial orders for the Grande Panda in Italy are now expected to open in January 2025, with deliveries following in June 2025—nearly a year after the car’s public unveiling in Kragujevac, Serbia.

The Grande Panda will first be available in markets such as the Netherlands and France, where customers can place orders for the La Prima and Red versions, starting at prices around 25,000 euros and up.
