Finance Minister discusses economic trends and IMF partnership

Finance Minister SiniĊĦa Mali met with the IMF’s Resident Representative in Serbia, Lev Ratnovski, as announced by the minister on Instagram. “We discussed current global developments and economic trends in our country, macroeconomic indicators, expected economic growth for this year, and plans for the upcoming period. One of the topics was also the implementation of large capital projects in the Republic of Serbia,” Mali wrote on the social media platform.

“In line with this, we also talked about the current non-financial arrangement we have with the International Monetary Fund, in the form of the Policy Coordination Instrument (PCI), as well as achieving the goals outlined in it. The arrangement we have with the IMF guarantees the continuation of reforms in Serbia, which further contributes to improving the business environment and the quality of life for citizens,” explained the Finance Minister.
