Further liberalisation of trade with Russian Federation as of 1 July

The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development announced that during consultations held on 17 and 18 May in Moscow an agreement was reached to allow the tax-free export of carpets, furniture, cash registers, monitors, projectors and television receivers to Russia as of 1 July.

The Serbian delegation that was headed by State Secretary of Economy and Regional Development Vesna Arsic also agreed with the representatives of the customs union to extend the free trade regime to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well.

This will be enabled through a free trade agreement, which will additionally expand the tax-free market for Serbian exporters and create conditions for unimpeded trade with this customs union.

Also it was agreed to apply uniform rates for exemption from the free trade regime for all goods that are exported from Serbia to the customs territory of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
