German Bauhaus retail store to be constructed in Serbia

Companies Delta Real Estate and German Bauhaus have signed an agreement on the construction of the first Bauhaus retail store in Serbia, which will be situated in Block 53 in New Belgrade. This Bauhaus retail store will be part of the future Delta Park, the biggest retail park in this region, which will cover a total area of roughly 70,000 square meters. This retail store will be a do-it-yourself store, spanning over 20,000 square meters, and it will comprise a parking lot for 400 visitors. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2012, while the facility should be opened in autumn 2012 at the latest. The investment in the first Bauhaus retail store in Serbia will amount to about EUR 25 million and it will enable creation of over 200 jobs. Bauhaus plans to open several more facilities in Serbia over the next two or three years in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis.
