Germany to participate in Expo 2027 in Belgrade, strengthening economic relations with Serbia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has received a letter from the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, expressing gratitude for the invitation and confirming Germany’s participation in the “Expo 2027” in Belgrade, as announced today by the Serbian Presidency.

“Expo 2027 will highlight Serbia’s commitment to enhancing European and international economic relations, and I am grateful for your kind invitation. I would like to inform you that the German government intends to accept your invitation and participate in Expo 2027 in Belgrade,” the letter from Chancellor Scholz reads in part.

Scholz also emphasized that he is confident this will be another excellent opportunity for the two countries to further strengthen their close economic ties, according to the letter from the German Chancellor.
