Hungary continues to support Serbia on road to EU

Hungary will continue to support Serbia in achieving its strategic goal of EU integration, it was said Thursday in the meeting of Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic and Hungarian Ambassador to Serbia Oscar Nikovic, released the Provincial Secretariat for Information.

The two agreed that the good and friendly bilateral relations should be continued with more economic cooperation between Vojvodina and Hungary, specifically investments in agriculture and spa tourism.

Moreover, intensifying cooperation and improving life and the economy in the tri-border area of Serbia, Hungary and Romania is a shared task and need of these countries, said the Vojvodina prime minister.

Ambassador Nikovic commended Vojvodina for serving the interests of its country on its road to the EU. The two officials also agreed on the importance of the Danube Strategy, whose goal is to strengthen cooperation between the countries which rely on this major water and economic resource.
