Italian and German investors in Kraljevo

Preparation of general plans for regulating industrial zones

A delegation of a consortium comprising the German company Ambero from Kronenberg, the Icon Institute from Cologne, and the Organization for Technical Assistance (GTZ), as well as representatives of the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen and the Association of Industrialists of Udine, visited Kraljevo on Friday and agreed with representatives of the local self-government on future business-technical cooperation.

Kraljevo Mayor Ljubisa Simovic signed a memorandum of cooperation in preparation of future general plans for regulating industrial zones in the vicinity of Kraljevo with the German delegation.

– The primary goal of this project of the GTZ is to support cities and municipalities in Serbia in an efficient, socially balanced and ecologically sustainable management of building land, as well as to stimulate local economic development – said Harald Miller, the manager of the GTZ project.

A delegation of Italian businessmen was also staying in Kraljevo and members of this delegation were considering the possibility of investing in development of local economy at the meetings with Mayor Simovic and businessmen from Kraljevo and they visited locations suitable for so-called greenfield and brownfield investments.
