Italian companies Aqua Techno and L Mar interested in investing in Freight and Transportation Center Apatin

Representatives of Italian companies Aqua Techno and L Mar paid a visit to the municipality of Apatin on Friday (November 5, 2010). Zivorad Smiljanic, the Mayor of Apatin, received Paola Turbolente from Roma-based Aqua Techno and Rafalea Lapocchini from Napoli-based financial corporation L Mar who expressed interest in investing in Freight and Transportation Center Apatin, as well as in the capacities of the Danube river.

The Mayor of Apatin introduced the guests from Italy to the urban, construction, logistic and other capacities of the municipality, which are at the disposal for foreign and domestic investments of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended by Jovo Korac, the Adviser to the President for Investments, and Sinisa Jovanovic, the Manager of the Department for Housing and Public Utility Activities and City Planning of Apatin. After the talks, the guests visited the locations of the Freigh and Transportation Center, the international marina, the pier for passenger ships, and Junakovic spa resort.
