Metalac turned 4.5 million euros worth of profit in 2010

Gornji Milanovac-based Metalac registered 80 million euros worth of business revenue in 2010, 5% more than in 2009, while the company’s net profit amounted to 4.5 million euros.

– This year the company plans a production growth of 8% – said Metalac Director General Petrasin Jakovljevic.

The most famous domestic cookware manufacturer has 1,550 employees, nearly half of whom work at the subsidiary Metalac Posudje (Metalac Cookware). None of the workers was dismissed during the crisis.

Last year, Metalac formed a company in the USA, in Milwaukee, in order to ensure better penetration of the U.S. market.
