The Ministry of Mining and Energy announced today a new public call for the allocation of subsidies for the improvement of energy efficiency, for which 250 million euros have been provided, said Minister Zorana Mihajlović.
“We have provided 250 million euros for this year for subsidies for the replacement of carpentry, ie the installation of external insulation and the replacement of boilers, as well as for the installation of solar panels,” she told K1 Television, the ministry reported.
According to her, the public call to which all local self-government units can apply will last for the next 15 days.
As she stated, the invitation refers to the municipalities and cities with which the carpentry replacement project will be implemented together.
“After that, all local self-government units will issue calls to companies and citizens,” said Mihajlović.
She said that the first project showed that citizens are interested in this type of subsidy and stated that the ministry will provide more money for devastated municipalities and socially endangered citizens.
“The novelty is that the ministry, instead of 50 percent, will participate with 70 percent of the funds in the most underdeveloped, ie devastated municipalities.” We are also talking to the centers for social work and we will find a way to help socially endangered households to be able to participate in the project, “said Mihajlović.
According to her, the construction of the Nis-Dimitrovgrad main gas pipeline will provide Serbia with the possibility of gas supply from other sources, which will improve security and independence in the gas sector because gas will be available from Greece, Azerbaijan and in the future from Israel and Israel. from Cyprus.
Mihajlovic said that about 40 percent of the territory in Serbia is gasified, and that the diversification of routes and suppliers will enable that percentage to increase, which will provide security for investors and the economy, because gas stability affects the economic environment and investment potential of the country.
She added that energy is in the world focus and that the fight against climate change, as well as the process of energy transition, is a global priority, and that those who do not understand that hinder the development of energy and economy, Danas writes.
