Monbat opens car battery processing factory on September 1st – EUR 12m worth of investment in Indjija

Monbat will ceremoniously open a factory for processing old lead batteries and producing lead-based alloys in Indjija on September 1st.

So far, over 12 million euros have been invested in the project, while the commencement of trial production, which will require employment of 70 people, is scheduled for September 2010.

The factory will be using the state-of-the-arts technology in the field of non-ferrous metallurgy, which means that no waste water will be released.
