New leadership appointed at Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro

Saša Marković has been appointed as the new general director of Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro. He joins this leadership role from his position as general director of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, where he achieved significant results and contributed to the company’s growth in that market.

Marković will succeed the current general director, who is taking on a new role within the Coca-Cola HBC organization.

Saša Marković joined Coca-Cola HBC in 2020 as the sales director for Serbia and Montenegro. In this role, he successfully led the sales team and played a crucial part in achieving record business recovery during the global pandemic. For his outstanding contributions in 2022, the Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro unit received the prestigious Andrew David award from the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group.

The outgoing general director, Svetoslav Atanasov, has successfully led Coca-Cola HBC Serbia and Montenegro for the past six years, achieving remarkable business results, including two major acquisitions in the Serbian market: the opening of the sparkling water bottling plant “Rosa Homolje” and the acquisition of leading domestic confectioner “Bambi.” In his new role, Atanasov will manage the markets of Greece and Cyprus as general director.
