Contract signed for €138 million new railway station complex in New Belgrade

The Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesić, and Vei Jiming, the director of Shandong Company for Europe, signed a contract for the construction of a railway station complex in New Belgrade, in the presence of Chinese Ambassador Li Ming.

The contract is valued at €138 million, with €70 million allocated for the construction of the new station and nearly €40 million for the reconstruction of the bridge structure.

Construction is expected to begin early next year and be completed by December 2026 at the latest.
