Post of Serbia announced a tender for the procurement of 40 trucks

Today, the Post of Serbia announced a tender for the procurement of 40 trucks, and estimated the total value of the procurement at 626 million dinars (about 5.3 million euros).

The post office, as seen in the technical specification, plans to purchase ten trucks with a “maximum permissible weight of at least 18 tons” with an upgrade of the “hydraulic platform box” type, as well as 31 delivery trucks with a “maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons” with by upgrading the “hydraulic platform box type”. 

The post office specified in detail in the technical specification the characteristics that vehicles should have (from the characteristics of the driver’s cab, mechanical and electronic systems, upgrades and equipment for the vehicle).

The bidder should have the authorization / certificate of the manufacturer of the basic vehicle (or the authorized representative of the manufacturer for the territory of Serbia) to be able to offer their basic vehicle in the procedure of this public procurement.

The deadline for submitting bids is July 5.

The post office recently announced a public procurement for trucks through “operational leasing”, and estimated the value of the tender at around 9.4 million euros.

The post office will roughly lease five combined passenger vehicles, 210 delivery trucks with a maximum permissible weight of less than 2.5 tons and 145 trucks with a maximum permissible weight of three to 3.5 tons, Nova Ekonomija writes.
