Prime Minister opened a new representative office of the software company Wargaming in Belgrade

The President of the Government of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, opened a new representative office of the software company Wargaming Belgrade (Wargaming) in Airport City, with an area of ​​5,500 square meters, where 200 people will be employed.

Vorgaming General Manager Nikola Stojanović told Tanjug on the eve of the opening that the company currently employs around 800 people in Serbia, that the studio in Belgrade is the second largest out of 15 companies worldwide, and that he is sure that given the future plans for become the biggest in the world in a few months.

World of Warships Franchise Director Sergej Vorobjev pointed out in a statement to Tanjug that the expertise of Serbian developers is one of the reasons why the company decided to open a new office in Belgrade. He added that developers in Serbia may have more experience in other IT sectors than in gaming, but that they are of high quality, adapt and learn quickly.

Vorobjev pointed out that the game World of Worship is one of the key games in the company’s portfolio, and the team working in Belgrade has all the conditions for creating great content and developing the franchise in the future.

Wargaming was founded in 1998 and employs 3,600 people in 15 cities around the world, including Nicosia, Vilnius, Tokyo and Warsaw.

It is best known for the video games World of Tanks (World of Tanks) and World of Warships, as well as the mobile title World of Tanks Blitz (World of Tanks Blitz).

Immediately after entering the local market and opening the first office in 2022, the company opened a large number of jobs in Serbia.
