A business forum featuring Serbian and Chinese entrepreneurs recently took place at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, drawing over 200 representatives from both Serbian and Chinese companies and institutions, according to RTS.
Marko Čadež, the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that Chinese companies are committed to enhancing economic cooperation between Serbia and China. He highlighted their focus on launching new projects and their plans to establish a regional office of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Serbia.
Čadež elaborated on the ongoing discussions regarding the potential opening of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce office, noting that it represents a significant advancement in the partnership. He stressed that both countries share the common goal of fostering joint business ventures and generating profits. Furthermore, Čadež assured that Serbian companies would have continuous opportunities to engage in discussions with major Chinese firms interested in expanding production processes into Europe.
In addition, Čadež pointed out the establishment of a dedicated team to facilitate smoother communication with Chinese partners and accelerate business development. He also highlighted the creation of a center to streamline administrative procedures, ensuring they remain efficient while maintaining customer and consumer safety.
As part of their efforts to strengthen bilateral ties, Čadež revealed that Chinese companies have extended invitations to Serbian companies to visit China and explore potential joint investments and collaborative enterprises, whether in Serbia or within the Chinese market.
