In Serbia, based on the state of the crops, it is expected that the production of wheat this year will be 3,755,000 tons, which is 20.8 percent more than last year, the Republic Institute of Statistics announced.
Estimates are that the production of raspberries will be 15 percent lower, and cherries 11.9 percent.
Compared to the previous year, more sugar beet was sown by 20 percent, and less corn by 1.5 percent, sunflower by 4.3 percent and soybeans by 10.3 percent.

Compared to the ten-year average (2013–2022), wheat production will be 36.2 percent higher, while the area sown with soybeans is 4.6 percent higher and sunflower is 14.8 percent higher, while corn is 5.2 percent less. And sugar beets by 12.8 percent.
