Serbia holds potential to be a regional leader in the development of global AI solutions

The export of IT services from Serbia amounted to 345 million euros in 2012, and this year it is expected to be 4 billion euros, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said at the online Summit on artificial intelligence and innovation, the Government announced today.

From the beginning of my first mandate in 2017, I set IT and digitization as one of my main priorities, and now it is exactly six years since my first working day as Prime Minister, said Brnabić.

“I never dreamed of being a police officer, but I dreamed of doing something big for my country and I saw my chance in electronic administration. In addition, since then we have done a lot to develop the IT sector in our country, and everything in with the aim of enabling the accelerated development of IT, digitization and entrepreneurship,” she stressed.
