Serbia holds status of partner-country in Turkey’s Auto Fair

The International Automotive Industry Fair has been open in Istanbul on Thursday, where Serbia has the status of the partner-country, communicated the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. The event will last until April 10 and display more than 1,000 companies from 40 countries, including 10 companies and two clusters of the Serbian car industry. At the forum dedicated to the automotive industry in Serbia, Vice President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Mihailo Vesovic has stressed that at issue is one of most perspective economic branches, with the tradition longer than half a century. Our industry is characteristic for solid production capacity, high technological support, innovative production processes and expertise of staff, as well as the certificates of leading world car manufacturers, explained Vesovic. He ahs pointed that the investments in Serbian car industry brings many advantages, especially relating to the production conditions comparing to other countries of the region, along with subsidies for new jobs, many tax facilitations and possibility of customs-free export to South East European states, i.e. Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
