Serbia is huge potential for further investment by German businesspeople

 

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic spoke yesterday with Minister of State at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs Werner Hoyer about bilateral relations, economic cooperation of the two countries and Serbia’s European integration.

It was stressed at the meeting that Germany will continue to support Serbia on its EU path and that it is of special importance for Serbia to obtain candidate status by the end of the year.

As for economic cooperation, Germany is Serbia’s largest foreign trade partner and an important investor in the Serbian economy.

The participants in the meeting agreed that German investment in Serbia is being successfully realised and that there is huge potential for further investment by German businesspeople.
