Serbia ready to strengthen economic cooperation with Azerbaijan-PM

Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic said yesterday in a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov that bilateral relations between the two countries are good, friendly and without any open issues.

Cvetkovic said that Serbia is ready to strengthen all forms of cooperation, especially economic ones.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the principled stance and support of Azerbaijan in terms of solving the Kosovo-Metohija issue, and particularly commended the involvement of this country on this issue on the international stage.

The two officials assessed that there is great potential for further development and strengthening trade and economic cooperation, especially when it comes to investing of Azerbaijani companies in the Serbian economy.
