Serbia signs agreement to participate in EU crisis management operations

 

Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic and Head of the EU in Serbia Vincent Degert signed an Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the EU, which establishes a framework for Serbia’s participation in EU operations for crisis management. 

The Foreign Ministry said that this agreement sets out the general requirements for Serbia’s participation in EU operations for crisis management.

The agreement, however, does not imply the participation of our country in every operation.

Concrete form of cooperation will be agreed on in consultation with the Union, the statement added.
