Serbia, Spain to discuss economic cooperation

 

Serbia`s Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will meet today with Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Trinidad Jimenez Garcia about further steps in Serbia’s European integration process, bilateral relations and economic aid and cooperation of Spain and Serbia.

Djelic will also meet with Swedish Minister for Migration and Asylum Policy Tobias Billstrom.

The subjects of the meeting will be activities and measures implemented by Serbia to reduce the number of its citizens who apply for asylum in Sweden, preservation of Serbia’s position on the White Schengen list, and the necessity of partner support and cooperation with the EU.

Djelic and Billstrom will also talk about the fulfilment of the Action plan for obtaining the candidate status, about Serbia’s further steps in the process of European integration, and about cooperation and assistance of Sweden on this path.
